About me!

I have always loved a good wedding, and when my son announced that he was getting married, I was ecstatic! (and here I am at my son's wedding in 2021)

 

The first thing we did was to go along to a wedding fair to get some inspiration, but sadly it didn’t come up to our expectations. He just happened to say, ‘You could do a better job mum’. I didn’t have to think about this for very long, as I have always had a passion for popping into charity sales, antique shops, and car boot sales to see what interesting finds I could buy.

 

I wanted to have a business that was a little bit different from the norm that would reflect my love for sustainable quirky and unique items, and one of a kind pieces. I started off hiring to friends and family, then before too long I was being recommended, and it got to the stage that I made the decision to turn my hobby into a part time business, and PROPOSAL was born!

 

In 2023, I took a leap of faith and turned PROPOSAL into a full-time business, which has been the best decision that I have ever made. I am passionate about what I do, and love every minute!
